Politics in our part of the world is very intense, passionate, and heated. As a developing country, due to the enormous economic, social and political challenges that confront the nation, it becomes burdensome and unrealistic to be able to meet all of them when one assumes office as the president or any other political positions, as a result of the limited supply of resources. This serves as a source of pressure from the citizenry to the head of state when especially their pressing needs do not feature in the national agenda for the time being.
It is rather unfortunate that as a result of the many developmental challenges we face, we are blinded by the enormous efforts presidents we have had as a country put in to ensure the betterment of lives for us Ghanaians. Corruption allegations against some government officials notwithstanding, each president we have had in this country achieves something significant that helps lessen the burden on the Ghanaian.
This article focuses on the lighter side of Ghanaian politics by throwing the light on occasions when John Dramani Mahama caused traffic on social media with his spot-on fashion sense. John is indisputably one of the most popular names when it comes to politics in the country now. The man who has been through the rank and file of all the political levels of the country is idolized by many, most especially sympathizers of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
Aside from his political achievements, many admire him for his eloquence, looks, and good fashion sense. Check out some throwback pictures of John Dramani Mahama that many Ghanaians will hardly forget.
