Bawumiah At Ayawaso : The People Mobbed Him-See Photos

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Writes:

Day 2 of my tour of Greater Accra Region started with a visit to Ayawaso East and North constituencies where I met with opinion leaders and traders. I also addressed a durbar of chiefs and residents of these constituencies at Kawukudi park.

I also had a one-on-one radio interview with my good friend, Osei Bonsu (OB), host of Asempa FM's political show 'Ekosiisen' to explain to the public the policies, programmes and achievements of President Akufo-Addo's administration.

I ended the day's tour by interacting with Imams, chiefs, artisans, traders and head porters in Kotobabi and Mallam Atta in the Ayawaso Central constituency.

I was impressed with the enthusiasm and the level of appreciation of the Ghanaian public towards the programmes and policies of the government of President Akufo-Addo.

We have about three months to Ghana's presidential and parliamentary elections in December. This year's election is going to one of the toughest elections to have ever happened in the country as it is between an incumbent president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and immediate former president John Dramani Mahama. The New Patriotic Party NPP led by President Akufo-Addo is saying Ghanaians need to give them four more years to do more but the National Democratic Congress NDC on the other hand is telling Ghanaians to compare records of both parties to vote for them to rescue Ghana from mess, nepotism and corruption created by Akufo-Addo led government.
