Sad: A Woman In Labor Carried On Wooden ladder To A Clinic For Delivery At Motokrodua

I'm speechless seeing this happening in Ghana the star of Africa, as I ask, it's a mistake to live a in rural community? This is not suppose to happen in this 21century of the 4th republic of Ghana where most people are using expensive vehicles and others citizens can't even have access to common clinic, while we boast of natural resources but lacks human resources.

This is Ghana in 2021, a Midwife at Motokrodua a cocoa farming community in the Sekyere East District having Effiduase as it Capital in the Ashanti Region, reportedly carried her client from "hard to reach area" to the another clinic for delivery, her clinic has no water nor electricity.

Sadly they were spotted carrying the woman in labor on a wooden dirt as the community lack good roads not to talk of vehicles to convey clients in terms of emergency cases.

Who's making is this, are we saying the community has failed to help themselves absolutely no, these ones to take part in voting, pay taxes and more importantly contribute to the cocoa industry in the country in their own small way, hence a total failure on the side of government to give them their fair share of the national cake.

I must say I'm most greatful to the midwife for accepting in the first place to work in such an environment.

This is a big disgrace to the Ministry of Health and should challenge the sector Ministry, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang- Manu to give the situation a quick responses.
