"Someone Sold Your Destiny When He Was In Power" -Abronye Chides Mahama:Says He Deserves Away Booing

The president of the Republic was booed by some Ghanaians on the 24th of September at the independence square during the global citizen festival which brought about great talents on stage.

At a point, the first gentleman of the land mounted the podium to address the gathering and exclaimed in ecstasy "Ewiase Hienaa Aba Ghana," to wit the whole world has assembled in the country. However, this innocuous statement didn't sound pleasing to the lot.

They rather booed and clapped, shouting in unison "away, away," which somehow suggests that they are disenchanted with the governance of the president and had used this opportunity to register their displeasure.

Fast forward, the Bono regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye yesterday after condemning the incident rather sought to draw the name of the former President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama Into the issue.

According to his post on Facebook, Mahama deserves the booing, not the current President who is doing his best to address the challenges confronting the country. He described Mahama as "corrupt" and someone who sold our port to his crony.

Strangely, we had both NPP and NDC youth shouting away at the president because they are disappointed in his promises. Instead of Abronye addressing the issues, he is rather blaming Mahama who is in opposition.
