The morning host of Maakye on Onua TV, Godsbrain Blessed Smart has revealed that the coup leader of Guinea, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya is not ready to listen to anyone from ECOWAS. As many Ghanaians can remember, the Chair of ECOWAS, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo sent a message to the coup leader requesting him to release President Alpha Condé. Mamady did not even respond to this warning.
After this, the President of the Democratic Republic (DR) Congo, President Félix-Antoine also came out with a statement requesting that Doumbouya releases Professor Alpha Condé. This time round Mamady responded to President Félix-Antoine by saying that "Mr President, I have followed your message asking us to release Alpha Condé but we will not let this happen. Where were you when Alpha Condé made the population suffer and violated the constitution which required him to serve two terms? Where were you when the Guineans suffered overnight? Look closely at the reaction of the Guineans before asking us to release Alpha Condé".
Captain Smart reveals that Mamady has read the books about Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings and knows how to govern a country. And yesterday, he quoted them during his reactions to some of the critics of his coup. Captain Smart reveals that at the time ECOWAS was having a ZOOM meeting, Mamady Doumbouya was arresting all Ministers in the country for accountability. What shows that this man is afraid of ECOWAS or African leaders?
Captain Smart added that Colonel Mamady Doumbouya next move is to arrest all the parliamentarians in Guinea for them to render account to the people. According to Godsbrain Smart, Mamady has assigned each parliamentarian with one military man. Their job is to watch over them so when the time comes, they will come and render account to the people.
