“We Will Bury Ourselves If You Attempt Rigging 2024 Elections” – NDC Womens Organizer Warns NPP

Dr. Bawumia and Nana Akufo-Addo will not go to heaven" - <a class=NDC's Hajia Charity Asuoma -"/>

The Women's Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region, Hajia Charity Asuoma warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against rigging the forthcoming election in 2024.

She says the NDC is poised and serious for victory in 2014 and for that matter they will not condone an act of machinations from the NPP and its assignees at the Electoral Commission (EC) to rig the elections.

"We will win the election for you people. We don't fear anybody, only God. And if they attempt what they did in Techiman and Ayawaso West we swear we will bury ourselves", she said.

Hajia Charity made these remarks while addressing some nursing trainees at an event organized by the Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) wing of the NDC at Bolgatanga Midwifery College.

She further entreated the TEIN members of the Bolgatanga Midwifery College to go back to their various branches to work for the NDC to return to power.

She says a return of the NDC to power will result in them getting jobs after completion of their nursing training programme.

"Please go back to your branches and work. It's not only in school that you can work. Engage yourself and work hard and let's kick them out. And restore your allowance for you.

The average supporter of the National Democratic Congress believes that the EC rigged the last elections in 2020 for the NPP’s Akufo-Addo.

However, the EC has always insisted that the 2020 election was free and fair and that the results are a true reflection of the will of the people of Ghana.
