A former member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has finally sent a strong message to President Akufo-Addo regarding how he can reduce the hardships in the country. He revealed that, for the ruling government to make things better, the President needs to sacrifice his own.
While speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo and discussing the move by President Akufo-Addo and his government, Allotey Jacobs boldly revealed that Akufo-Addo needs to sacrifice his own now and sack Ken Ofori-Atta. He revealed that, after the sacking of Ofori-Atta, the President should put the whole finance ministry under Vice President, Dr. Bawumia and that will be the best decision.
“ One important thing I will suggest to President Akufo-Addo now is for him to have the balls and sack the finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta. Sometimes the situation gets to moments where you have to sacrifice your own. After that, he should hand over the whole finance ministry to Dr. Bawumia and I tell you, that will be the best decision. Dr. Bawumia has to play a key role in all these IMF brouhahas and I think he will do a good job.” Allowed Jacobs boldly revealed this.
