It is good to communicate with the base, if you are not in the right position financially or whatsoever ways to help, that should not prevent you from answering phone calls or replying text, treat the grassroots as your loyal customers and do all to retain them.
Sometimes, just answering that call or replying to that text to listen and revert could mean so well to us than not minding us at all.
If you don’t mind us we may end up concluding that; you’re careless about us, you’re greedy, you’re selfish, you don’t regard the grassroots for putting you where you’re, etc.
It doesn't cost a thing to be there for the people who crisscrossed the length and breadth of this country to get you into that position today. It doesn't cost much to grant them audience, and it doesn't reduce your portfolio for you to consider their sacrifices and reward them appropriately.
You do this only to show little appreciation for your position. That’s how we all can continue moving forward.
To say, you have contributed much more than the grassroots leading to your appointment for that matter you are not thereby anyone’s support could only leave the entire party to opposition.
We cannot afford to allow the power we have to slip off our hands just because we failed to recognize our own. Our leaders must go back to the grassroots and make it soggy if we are serious about breaking the 8.
Let's not repeat the mistakes of others. We have a lot of lessons to learn from the mistakes of the past, so let's get better.
