Kuffour's Boy "Clashes" Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu On The Number Of Ministers A President Must Have

A top appointee under the Kuffour administration, Kwadwo Mpianim, has clashed with the Majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who is also the Member of Parliament for the Suame constituency. Not long ago, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu stated in plain language that any President will appoint only 19 ministers and that there is no need for a Vice President.

Reacting to this, Kwadwo Mpianim shared his total disagreement with that idea.

"If you are going to set up an artificial limit to 19 or 20 or what not, I think you are limiting the President as to how he must govern the country. The whole world is dynamic and things change. So if you are going to put in a law that we should only have 19 ministries and maybe we even list the ministries, the world changes.", he explained.

Kwadwo Mpianim dropped a prediction about what will happen if Ghana considers cutting down the size of ministers every government must have

"It will come to a time when we will say some of the ministries we may not need and we may have to add another minister and you may have to go back and say let us change the law to bring these new ministries", Kwadwo Mpianim explained.
