Kwesi Pratt's Daughter Joins Akoto Ampaw And The I8 Others To 'Fight' Anti LGBTQ Bill?

Last week and this week has been characterized by debates as to whether criminalizing homosexuality was the best way to go. Majority of Ghanaians have thrown their full support behind Ghanaian legislator, Sam George, so that the anti LGBTQ bill is passed as soon as possible. Also, some strong force consisting of lawyers and professors have provided logical explanation on why the bill may not be the best solution.

Today, Ama Pratt, daughter of Kwesi Pratt, joined this strong force as she added her voice to theirs on Gh One TV's breakfast morning show with Lantam Papanko. Ama Pratt narrated a true story of how a woman gave birth to a boy who had female features. According to her, the bill at hand renders that child a criminal. Ama Pratt believed that the people engaged in homosexuality were born with it so they must not be tagged as criminals. Ama Pratt stated emphatically that the legislators of this country should channel that energy on other relevant problems. She added that these people were minority and as such, their rights must be protected as such.
