The more you feel like you are doing the right thing, the more you step on people's toes. This has been the case of Captain Smart since day 1 when he started exposing politicians fearlessly and stating matters where it is supposed to be. Although he has declared his stance for the New Patriotic Party, yet people from the NPP still attack him for his loose talks.
Ever since the issue of the Takoradi kidnapped pregnant woman brouhaha arose, Captain Smart landed in fresh trouble the moment he rose to the defense of the women without doing his research. There have been calls for him to apologize to the Western Regional Minister and Police for his hasty generalization and conclusion.
Today, an NPP bigwig who controls one of the biggest NPP Facebook official pages, Don Kb, has brought the attention of Ghanaians to a derogatory and tribalistic comment made by Captain Smart when criticizing the Western Regional Minister. Don Kb disclosed that Captain Smart retorted that the Minister was behaving "srem" politicians meaning politicians from the North. Don Kb explained that it was a denigration of politicians from the North.
As such, he called unto the MPs in the Northern Caucus of Parliament to summon him for interrogations.
