John Mahama Donates To Kumasi Central Prisons

Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has donated face masks, hand sanitizers, liquid soap and other items to inmates and officers of the Kumasi Central Prison.

The donation is in line with efforts to support the fight against the Novel Coronavirus Pandemic and to make available Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) to frontline staff and persons who come more into contact with Several more people. 

The items were presented on behalf of Former President Mahama by Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Augustus Andrews, former Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Samuel Sarpong, frmer Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital CEO Dr. Joseph Akpalo, and other Ashanti Regional Executives.

This is not the first time the former president and flagberer of the NDC is making such donations to individuals and organizations. It will be recalled that weeks ago, the former president donated PPEs to some hospitals and health facilities across the country.

Some beneficiary hospitals included the Ridge Hospital, Korlebu Teaching Hospital, Konfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital, the Keta District hospital and many others.
