Accusations Kennedy Agyapong levelled against Adwoa Safo as a result of her absence in Paliament

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, an outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has been vocal about events in the ruling party in recent days.

The businessman-turned-politician has lamented the government's inability to approve the contentious e-levy, as well as the lackadaisical attitude of some of his fellow MPs, in several interviews across various media outlets.

In the majority of the interviews, Hon. Agyapong has attacked Sarah Adwoa Safo, the NPP MP for Dome Kwabenya and Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.

He said that the Minister is holding the government hostage over some inexplicable requests, which explains her choice to leave Parliament without permission.

Let's look at some of what he has stated about Hon. Adwoa Safo:

1 . Adwoa Safo wants to be promoted to Deputy Majority Leader:

The outspoken member said Adwoa Safo is seeking to be the Deputy Majority Leader before coming to parliament in an interview with GTV.

"She claims she aspires to be the Deputy Majority Leader, although she has failed in her life."

Before she comes, a complete Minister, a Cabinet Minister, demands that she be made Deputy Majority Leader.

Ken said, "She should go to hell."

"She doesn't show up to Parliament and is dancing on TikTok."

He continued, "Excuse me, Dome Kwabenya is not for Apostle Kwadwo Safo."

He claims the Women and Gender Minister is absent from Parliament because she was not appointed Deputy Majority Leader.

2 . The Chief of Staff gave Adwoa Safo GHS 120,000 to attend Parliament: The Assin Central MP likewise affirmed that the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei-Opare, gave him GHS120,000 to store into the record of Adwoa Safo for her to go to Parliament.

"The Chief of Staff called me, and I went, I swear [on] my mom's grave, Chief of Staff gave me ¢120,000 and saved into Adwoa Safo's Fidelity Bank account.

"I brought the cash there into the Fidelity Account, inquire as to whether what I am talking about isn't reality," an incensed Kennedy Agyapong said.

He added, "Presently we are in resistance, how Adwoa Safo is treating the party, it is showing that we are in resistance and this shouldn't go on without serious consequences by any means," he said.

3 . A personal jet was used to fly Adwoa Safo to Ghana: In a meeting on Accra based Asaase Radio, Hon. Agyapong unveiled that the Chief of Staff, in a real sense, went to ask Adwoa Safo; however, she overlooked it.

"Adwoa Safo, they employed a personal luxury plane to bring the lady here, and when she came, she wouldn't come to parliament. She would not come to parliament".

"The Chief of Staff, in the wake of purchasing the ticket and flying her in, needed to take a motorcade to Adwoa's home; she [Chief of Staff] remained behind her [Adwoa Safo's] door for 30 minutes. What sort of discourteousness is that? Before she opened [the gate]. The Chief of Staff was made to sit at her [Adwoa Safo's] parlour for 35 minutes. At the point when she [Adwoa Safo finally] came [to parliament], Bagbin was worn out; he's debilitated, he can hardly wait. On the off chance that you can't get your numbers, so be it, and we were unable to cast a ballot. Returning [to the USA], she [Adwoa Safo] requested another private jet. Excuse me. Dr Amoako Baah, I’m sorry. You don’t know what has transpired”, he said.

4 . Adwoa Safo has failed in life: The business magnate claimed that his baby mama's absence from parliament harmed the House majority.

Mr Agyapong claims that Adwoa Sarfo "failed in life" by asking to be Deputy Majority Leader while serving as a cabinet minister.

"She claimed she wanted to be the Deputy Majority Leader," he continued. "That woman has failed in life, and now a complete Cabinet Minister is seeking to be made the Deputy Majority Leader before she comes."
