Forging national unity has been one of the main aims of every Ghanaian. Political parties are one of the bodies that have the sole privilege of controlling and deciding the will of Ghanaians. However, it is perceived that some political parties over abuse this privilege to destroy the hard-earned peace in Ghana. No political party admits to being guilty of this offense. Yet they find it convenient to blame each other.
Today, the National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, George Opare Addo, was spotted speaking to a man who was clad in an NPP dress which was imprinted with photos of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo. Thus, one will be 95% correct to assume that the man was NPP. That one aside, there was a silent communication about the standard of living. He was below the belt as he was seen in a lotto kiosk. The issue of relevance is the calm with which George Opare Addo spoke to the man despite the political difference. No one knows what they were talking about but one thing was for sure; he wanted to convince the die-hard fan of the NPP to shift membership or vote for the NDC.
Check out the reactions of Ghanaians.
