The New Patriotic Party is holding Islamic thanksgiving prayers for the 2020 election victory.
Reports have indicated that, today Friday 11th December indicated that the new patriotic party is holding a thanksgiving service at the Abosey Okai Central Mosque for the victory of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The program is scheduled to invite the Ghanaian Muslim to come and give thanks to the almighty Allah for the great thing he has done.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, will also be there to lead the thanksgiving prayers after Friday congregational prayers at the Central Mosque.
President -elect, Nana Addo Dankwa, and the incumbent vice present, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia are also expected to be at the event.
On Wednesday, the EC chairperson Jean Mensa, declared the incumbent president the president-elect the winner of the 2020 presidential election, stating that the incumbent President won with 6,730,587 votes, which represents 51.302 per cent of the total valid votes cast, whiles the NDC presidential Candidate obtain, 6,213,182 representing 47 percent of the total valid votes.
Reports have also indicated that, on Sunday, 13th, December, 2020, NPP will hold a Christian thanksgiving service.
