The member of Parliament for Suame Constituency, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who doubles as the Majority leader in Parliament and also the Minister for parliamentary affairs has sent a message to Haruna Iddrisu and his team.
According to the Osei Kyei, the minority leader and his team have been untruthful to him.
Speaking on Okay Fm this morning, He explained that the leadership of the majority met the leadership and other members of the minority privately to discuss certain parliamentary issues.
He stated that the minority side were 20 at the meeting while the majority side were 8. He added that they met the minority to have a consensus on the E-levy when Parliament sit on Friday. The majority side wanted this E-levy to be dealt with on Friday as Alban Bagbin, the speaker chairs the house.
Osei Kyei Mensah's main concern is that after the meeting, the minority which is being led by Haruna Iddrisu is behaving as if no meeting was done with the majority. He added that Haruna Iddrisu seems to be going about making statements as if it was the NPP that always pull surprises in the house.
He added that the minority should speak the truth or else God may not bless them. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and his team feels to have been betrayed by the minority every time they have a consensus at meetings.
