It was a pathetic scene at the Sekyere East District in the Ashanti Region as a pregnant woman who was in labour had to be carried on wood to the hospital to deliver.
In this 21st century seeing such scenes makes the mind wonder whether there are leaders in the place where this is reported to have happened.
It is quite unfortunate to see Government officials driving in big cars while the plight of the citizenry is left to suffer.
This is not the only place where such scenes are witnessed. There are so many places in Ghana where cameras are not focused there so it will never come out for people to see some of the very sad things happening in these villages.
Unfortunately, these villages which suffer the most as far development is concerned are the places where the country gets much from in terms of agriculture production which help the nations in the gross domestic product.
