Treasury Secretary Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to appear before Parliament tomorrow to update the House on the spending the government has incurred since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in the country.

The Treasury Secretary was due to appear before the House of Representatives last Thursday, June 16, 2022, to brief the House on the government's COVID-19 spending and answer 16 questions put forward by Members of Parliament (MPs) regarding his Ministry, but he has been unable to do so due to circumstances beyond his control.

Majority Leader and Head of Government Affairs in Parliament Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu made the announcement last Friday, June 17, 2022, when presenting this week's business statement.
Wednesday will be a day when he has to answer all the questions and respond to the outstanding matters responsible for the use of the COVID-19 money. I hope that the majority leader in charge of government affairs will communicate with the minister in charge of finance.
