The ex-president H.E John Dramani Mahama tours the greater Accra region for his “thank you tour” to express his appreciation to Ghanaians for voting for him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general elections.
The former president has visited the Volta, Oti, Eastern, Western and Western-North regions among others, as part of his campaign to express gratitude to the electorate for the numbers the party had in the 7 December 2020 general elections.
While in the greater Accra region, H.E John Dramani Mahama meet with the party supporters to thank them on their good work in the 2020 general elections.
He made several allegations about how fraudulent the 2020 elections was and how he and the NDC party will work to achieve their goals in 2024.
The former President assured the party members that, he will work hard to bring the NDC party into power in the year 2024.
The former president actually invested more time with the local chiefs, raising issues about the incompetence of the Electoral commission chair person Mrs. Jean Mensah and her deputy Bossman Asare.
John Dramani Mahama believes the electoral commission seems to be affiliated to the Npp party. I therefore call on the local chiefs as traditional stakeholders to probe into the concerns of the many Ghanaians and help calm down the matters. Mahama believes Ghanaians have lost faith in the electoral commission and its processes.
The former President later snubbed the election allegations and ventured into one of Ghana’s most serious topics under the Nana Addo government, the economy as he describes it.
John Dramani Mahama describes the Nana Addo’s government as an incompetent and confused government ever.
If the President had not waste state’s resources for his 2020 elections, we would have been in a better state”, he said.
He flies in expensive private jets and lives a luxurious life, leaving the ordinary Ghanaian to suffer”, he added.
I can confidently say H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is the cause of all the hardships Ghanaians are facing now and he is not ready to hear the cries of Ghanaians.
Mahama accused the finance minister Hon. Ken Oferi-Atta to be massaging figures for next year’s budget. I think this government has nothing to offer than to make life’s miserable for Ghanaians”, he added.
