The Volta Regional National Democratic Congress NDC, has pledged to support the open our borders demonstration in the region.
Friday August 27th 2021,all supporters of the NDC are asked to join the ongoing demonstration and also observe all covid19 protocols by putting on nose masks,observing social distance and using of the hand sanitizer and other covid19 protocols.
This demonstration is to let the Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo's government realize that,his decisions to close all land borders are really distracting the development and improvement of the people of the Volta Region and it's border towns in the country.
The reason is because through the borders, traders of different goods go in and out of the borders to buy and sell to earn a living and cater for their families.
This demonstration will be led by the Ketu South member of parliament Abla Dzifa Gomashie at Aflao.
Washing of the hands will be done at Denu and at the end of the demonstration.
