Adwoa Sarfo versus Osei Kyei Mensah: Disrespect and disregard at play

NPP' baby girl, Hon. Adwoa Sarfo has been absent from Parliament for almost four months. She is not even in the country at the moment. According to Mohammed Muntaka, MP for Asawasi, Adwoa Sarfo is fighting for the custody of her children in the U.S.

But there is more to this twist and turn of a story: the rift between Adwoa Sarfo and Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.

Reports suggest that Adwoa Sarfo was allegedly annoyed by Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu's persistent calls. She thus told him to stop calling.

But after some time, Adwoa Sarfo needed Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu's help. She had written letters seeking for extension of her leave. According to the procedures of parliamentary work, she needed to reach the Speaker through her party leadership in Parliament, and her party's leader in Parliament is Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.

Apparently feeling disrespected by Adwoa Sarfo, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu too has allegedly disregarded all Adwoa Sarfo's letters, meaning her letters have never reached the Speaker.

People like Muntaka know the inside story that is why he, Muntaka, keeps saying the NPP leadership in Parliament has not been fair to Adwoa Sarfo.

So the whole thing appears to be like a payback time. Adwoa Sarfo is suffering disregard from the same person she disrespected.

It's a tit for tat situation.
