The National Chairman for the National Democratic Congress, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has aired to the public that, the most noted pink sheets of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been digitized.
In effect, it has made party members who demanded for the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections results to get an easy access to the sheets at their various constituencies and regional offices.
This measure or step was as a result of the NDC party leadership accusing them of not engaging or setting up any systematic and proper collation of election results; for both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Dr. Benjamin Kumbour who is among the people who questioned the leadership claimed that the party’s rank and file was yet to be convinced that the NDC fraternity won the 2020 presidential election, especially while the party’s own collated results still remain a mystery.
He cautioned that, the NDC might suffer credibility flaws if the executives chaired by Ofosu Ampofo fail to put forward public collated election results to satisfy its party members.
Responding to the objections leveled against his measure, the NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, said all party members are very aware it has the collated figures.
However, the actions of those embarking on demonstrations over the results are verified.
“If people are not up to any mischief, the collated results are there. It has been digitised” the NDC Chairman aired.
The chairman also disclosed that, the party has done an audit of the entire 2020 election results which proved that the NDC won the 2020 elections.
