It will cost us nothing but prosperity if we send "Nzema Buah" from the West to Flagstaff House in 2024

It will indeed cost Ghana nothing but progress, prosperity and sustainable development if we make a conscious effort and take a collective action to elect this selfless man from the West to service us in the best of his ability.

Undoubtedly, we can all confidently affirm that the only Region that has produced the best and most impactful president in the country is Western.

After Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, we have had a series of Political leaders, but in terms of development, they are nowhere near Osagyefo.

He was the only leader who sacrificed his own regional development for the betterment of all.

He could have channeled all the resources to sustainably shape Western Region, but decided to develop other regions first before making any attempt to develop his own Region.

It is so sad, this vision could not be realised by him before his assassination.

After his untimely demise, nothing significant has been done in the Western Region, despite its being the hub and epicenter of the production of Ghana's rich and natural resources like Gold, Oil, etc.

The country needs a leader like Osagyefo, and clearly, this person cannot be chosen from any other region but Western.

He is mostly regarded by the entire Region as "Nzema Buah" due to his selfless service to the Nzema community.

He has fought to hard to raise the flag of the Nzemas to a higher height, and currently, there is no way we can boast of any development in that land without making reference to Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah.

Born on May 10, 1966 in Ghana, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah served as the Deputy Minister of Energy under Prof. Atta-Mills' Administration and subsequently served as the Minisiter for Energy and Petroleum (from 2013 to 2017).

Currently, Hon. Buah is the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region of Ghana.

Among the committees he has served on include: The Trade, Industry and Tourism Committee, Privileges Committee, Selection Committee, as well as the Members Holding Offices of Profit Committee.

Buah is happily married to Joyce Buah, and blessed with two children.

Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah is an alumnus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and University of Maryland (United States), where he obtained his Bachelor of Law Degree and Master of Science in Management.

He was recently honoured at the Ghana Ministers of State Excellence Awards for his key role in the Petroleum Local and Participation Regulations, 2013, L.I. 2204, establishment of the Petroleum Commission of Ghana, institution of the Petroleum Revenue Management Act, Act 815, among others; which have indeed gone a long way to shape the country's Petroleum Industry.
