Traveling All The Way From Accra To Commission a Gutter Is An Insult To The Chiefs- Elikem To Nana

National democratic Congress' Elikem Kotoko has descended heavily on president Akufo Addo for traveling all the way to Volta Region to commission a project which he describes as gutter.

According to Elikem Kotoko, Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is driving from the capital Accra all the way to Anfoega , his own hometown in the Volta Region to commission a storm drain for which work is still ongoing.

Explaining further, Elikem Kotoko said that Ghanaians should not be fooled by the use of big words, another word for storm drain as we all know is gutter. He said president Akufo Addo is actually going to commission a gutter but they are trying to polish the English.

According to Elikem, the Member of Parliament for that Constituency, Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh "has single-handedly done far more than this mediocre project".

He said he can’t wait for the exact speech to be delivered by the Paramount Chief of Anfoega Traditional areas, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV.

He bemoaned that the project if Akufo Addo travels from Accra to Volta Region in the name of Commissioning this project is an insult to the paramount Chief of the area, his sub-chiefs and people in general.
