The National Organizer of the CPP, Moses Yirimambo Ambing, has indicated that sometimes it hurts him when the NDC calls themselves Nkrumaist because they had the opportunity to push the policies of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah through industrialization, but they failed woefully in that regard.
Moses Yirimambo Ambing made this statement as a panelist on 'Good Morning Africa' on Pan Africa television this morning, 17th January 2022, when he accused the NDC of not being a true Nkrumaist.
According to Moses Yirimambo Ambing, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's policy was import substitution that's why he put up a lot of factories.
Moses Yirimambo Ambing indicated that the NDC as a party had so many years to rule this country, and if they wanted to tackle the issues of importations, they would have done it, but they've failed woefully in that regard.
"So, sometimes it hurts me when they call themselves Nkrumaist. They can't be Nkrumaist because a true Nkrumaist will not sit down for these things to happen."
Moses Yirimambo Ambing stated that when NDC was in power, they could have made sure that they solved the fundamental issues of ensuring that our local industries worked to cut off the imports coming from Europe.
"But the NDC has also been in cahoots with foreign powers, the IMF, and other things, but they've turned around to tell us that they are socialist, and they are with us in the struggles, but I don't believe it."
Moses Yirimambo Ambing added that for him in 2024, the do or die statement by John Dramani Mahama means that it's a do or die for Ghanaians to reject the NDC and the NPP outright.
