Award winning Ghanaian investigate journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has eulogized the Asantehene for telling Akufo Addo the truth about Galamsey.
He said Otumfour Osei Tutu II pointing out that Akufo Addo is the reason why the fight against Galamsey won't end soon is the boldest truth a leader can tell
"The Asantehene has succinctly said what Akufo-Addo needs to be told. He said it boldly and clearly. He said the government's claim of fighting galamsey "is full of lies; they should give us a break." He shared on his Twitter handle.

Otumfour in a statement said the fight against Galamsey can only be solved if Akufo Addo and his team stop throwing dust in the eyes of Ghanaians.
“You send military men to galamsey sites; they end up arresting labourers covered with mud. Can this man be the one behind galamsey?" Asantehene asked.
Top government and party officials are those financing the menace. They know them. They should go after them, and not the helpless labourers.
