Mr. Ampofo said, "Former President Jerry John Rawlings' leadership style has brought us; all of us, young ones to come to the level of party leadership. As we eulogize him tonight to celebrate his life. There is only one thing I as of you; let's close our ranks, let's come together, let's actively participate in rescue mission to rescue Ghana. Let us remain focus. Very very focus especially in the time that we find ourselves. We have very very little time to complete the rescue mission".
He further stated that the NDC party needs to win the 2020 election. He said that the best tribute that they can use in memory of the late president Jerry John Rawlings is to win this year's election completely.
Will the NDC party able to close all ranks and be able to win this year's election looking at the time period?
