There are a lot of deplorable roads in Ghana. This is part of the reason why President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) introduced "Year of Road" in other to solve road problems in Ghana. But it appears the community where this lady live has not received their share of the President's "Year of roads" promise.
The journalist in your picture was interviewing this lady about the problems they are encountering because of the deplorable nature of their road. The journalist might probably be expecting answers like; the bad road has increased transport fares, cost of items, waist pains, pregnant women suffers before going to hospitals, our farm products are being destroyed among others.
But this lady gave a different answer to the question. She spoke a typical Twi language saying "My brother, look at a beautiful lady like me. Is it wrong for me to get married at this time? Because of the bad nature of our road anytime a car gets to this spot, it returns. Our husbands might be in these cars but because the cars do not even get into our community, we are still single".
The lady added that men who have seen the bad nature of their road will not like to marry a woman from their community. This is because the problems they will encounter before coming to their community is too huge for them. She also said that armed robbers have been robbing a lot of people on this road so people are afraid to use this road.
So her community is pleading with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his associates to fix the road so that men can freely visit their girlfriends. The name of the community and the lady was not captured in the video.
