The Member of Parliament for Central Constituency Hon. Kennedy Agyapong in annual charitable works has donated a lot of items to Muslims in during the celebration of the Eid al-Fitr, the break of the Ramadan Fast.
The Outspoken politician and a businessman donated items like oil and bags of rices and among others. This took place at areas such Ashaiman, Suwula,Awoshie,Aburi and Madina.According to the business tycoon, he does it annually to support those who are financially unstable during the occasion.
The Parliamentarian during the charitable works stated, he has worked and lived with Muslims and confessed how peaceful they are. He talked of how he has helped a lot them to go Mecca.He added that he admires Muslims a lot and does not play with them.
Hon Kennedy Agyapong further explained that, he belongs to both Islam and Christianity since most of his relations are of both religions and therefore celebrates Christmas and Eid al-Fitr.The Assin Central Parliamentarian urged Christians and Muslims to live peacefully. He indicated that, Ghanaians have always lived together in peace and harmony for a longtime and should not allow the Wesley Girls issue to bring differences among ourselves.
He also admonished Ghanaians to observe the COVID-19 safety protocols and that India has suffered the rapid spread of the pandemic after the celebration of a festival.
