The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has made another serious allegations against the Akufo-Addo led NPP Government concerning how the COVID-19 stimulus package is being disbursed to Private Schools in the Country.
According to the NDC Communications Officer, the NPP Government is disbursing the stimulus package to party footsoldiers and also using the funds to campaign in the run up to the December General Elections.
Sammy Gyamfi made these commitments during a discussion on the press briefing organized by the Association of Private schools on TV3 morning show.
Yesterday, the Private Schools Association express their disappointment over how the stimulus package by the NBSSI was done, the private Schools stated that, only small amount of the funds requested by its members were made available and they are not happy about that.
But the NPP rep on the show, Mr. Denis dismissed the allegations by the NDC Communicator stating that, the application was online and there was no requirement for being an NPP member before you can access the stimulus package.
He cited an example in his District where about 23 out of 45 Private Schools were able to receive support from the stimulus package.
