That notwithstanding, the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) have pen down a message to fellow Ghanaians regarding their wait. They said, as Ghanaians await the announcement of the final official results by the Electoral commission. And in recognition of the important role of political leaders, especially the two main parties, the NDC and NPP, in preserving the peace in line with their commitments, including the signing of the peace pact on 4th December, 2020 they should abide by that commitment. They ended up urging all political parties and their learders to respect the spirit and letter of these commitments. All they are asking from Ghanaians is to maintain peace and wait for the final results to be declared.
