H.E. Akufo Addo on his regional tour in Ashanti region has hit hard on Assembly members threating to reject Mr Sam Payn as the Chief Executive Officer for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly if government fails to clear a 50 million Ghana Cedis the Assembly owes.
Speaking on Kumasi based Pure fm H.E Akufo Addo goes hard on the Assembly Members.
" The 50 million Ghana Cedis debt was not caused by Sam Payn so why will one use that as a bases to reject His nomination. And if they carry out such plan that in my opinion would not be fair to Sam Payn"
His Excellency ceased the opportunity to edge the Assembly members to be patient and refrain from decisions that can affect development drive in Ashanti Region.
" There are plans in place to boost the developmental and infrastructural drive in the region and nominating Sam Payn is part of it imagine a metropolis without a chief executive how will my plans and policies be felt here in the region"
