The president’s arrogance affects 2022 budget (Former prosecutor of Ghana)

According to Martin Alamisi Amidu; the former prosecutor of Ghana, the 2022 budget was rejected by the minority because of Nana Akufo-Addo’s arrogance.

The former Attorney general, wrote an article on the 2022 budget rejection which explains how Nana Akufo-Addo has been arrogant since he was elected president. He says Nana Aufo-Addo does not act right and refuses take advise from others, he says that is what led to the rejection of the 2022 budget. The former Attorney general stated that, the country’s security and intelligence, various Non governmental organizations and many others spoke on the E-levy being too much for Ghanaians, yet Nana Addo and the majority refused to listen because of arrogance. He continued to say that, the only reason Nana Akufo-Addo and the Majority refused to act on the E-levy was because they are involved in bribery and corruption and have other intentions which is known to them alone. The minority also argues that, the budget did not go through consultation.

Do you think Nana Addo’s arrogance really led to the rejection of the 2022 budget?

Do you side with the Attorney general?
