There was confusion at the Tamale South Constituency annual delegates conference on Tuesday 24th, August after the current Regional Chairman and his support stormed the venue for the occasion.
The confusion was broke up as some group of party supporters tried to prevent the Regional Chairman from entering the place.
In a video sighted by this page, some group of supporters were seen arguing with each other as one group want to prevent the Regional Chairman and another group trying to make sure that, he get to the venue.

There has been some divisions within the Northern Regional Executives of NPP and even party members as the party prepare to elect new executives.
Some are rooting for the Incumbent Chairman to be retained, while others are against his re-election.
Those against his re-election are of the view that, he should go back to his own Region of North East and allow people from the Northern Region to lead the party in the Region.
Currently, the race for the Northern Regional Chairmanship position is between the incumbent and his only challenger, Alhaji Inusah Amadu popularly known as " Dagomba Boy".
