Yesterday, HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo granted an interview to Kwame Sefa Kayi. He addressed a couple of issues like the Central region harbour matter and an ultimatum given by Aflao paramount Togbui Amenya Fiti V. The paramount chief gave the education minister to complete the E-block in his area within 14 days.
Reacting to the matter, the President laughed and asked that why is the chief giving the minister ultimatum? Indeed if the abandoned block worries him that much then he should go ahead and complete it himself. This comment from the President has been described by some Ghanaians as harsh. Some think the President shouldn’t talk like that. However, some Ghanaians have disclosed on Facebook that the President talked to an opponent NDC party communicator because that is exactly what the paramount chief of Aflao is- Fred Osei Bonsu told this on Facebook.
However, John Dumelo has pledged to contribute 100 bags of cement to the building should the chief find it prudent to complete the E-Block himself. This is the current state of the matter. Does John’s action speaks volume into what Fred alleged on Facebook or it’s just a theory?
