The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has jumped into the defense of Alan- Bawumia campaign for 2024 flagbearer race, after the New Patriotic Party Chairman Freddie Blay, has stated that they have not lift ban on Campaign in the party to elect 2024 flagbearer and in doing so, they will be suspended before the time as they have taken notice of people busily campaigning already for the two prominent leaders in the party.

The veteran Journalist speaking on Pan African TV morning show today, has stated that the NPP party Chairman Freddie Blay should not tried to suspend Dr Bawumia because if he does that, it will bring disaster and dishonesty into the party going forward.

According to him, Dr Bawumia is in line to take over the mantle from Nana Akufo-Addo as flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party and NPP should not do anything to block his ambitions for 2024 campaign and the campaign has began already if Freddie Blay doesn't know.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr was shocked seeing letter from Office of the Vice President stating that he is not aware about all the campaign posters in the country in his name, but Kwesi Pratt Jnr told Dr Bawumia to make his mind clear to contest the election in NPP rather than lying to Ghanaians again. He also said Alan Kyeremanteng should do the same.

According to him, NPP members and Ghanaians should know that Mr. Adei Nimo who is part of NPP, and who has been selfless in the past four years without involving in any corruption activities can be selected rather than Alan and Bawumia to lead NPP.

"I am shocked seeing Dr Bawumia to denied the campaign posters but I will say he is in line to take over from Nana Akufo-Addo and they should not suspend him. If they do that it will bring disaster and dishonesty among the party" he said.
