The Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency, Murtala Mohammed, has said that the extra classes he has organized for students in the Tamale Central Constituency must not be seen as NDC extra class. NPP kids can also attend it.
Murtala Mohammed made this statement on the 'New Day' on TV3 this morning, 22nd June 2021, when he clarified that the extra classes he has organized for students in his Constituency is for everyone and not for only NDC kids.
According to him, he is an MP representing the Tamale Central, and when he organizes a program such as free extra classes for the students who are at home because of covid-19 so that they can catch up with their privileged colleagues whose parents can afford extra classes for them, it shouldn't be politicized.
"It must not be seen as an NDC extra class. NPP can also attend. We have them in about four centers. I want to use this medium to tell them that they have to participate in it because it is free." - he said
He added that he has gotten good teachers who are teaching them especially, in the core subjects.
