The newly elected General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua has disclosed how President Nana Akufo Addo has helped him to become a lawyer.
Justin Frimpong Kodua has recalled his encounter with the president when he told him he will like him to be part of the young men to be groomed at the party.
“I remember he said to me, ‘Young man, you are very eloquent and I will like you to be part of the young people I will groom at the party,” He said.

He stated that he disclosed to the president his ambition of going into politics and the president gave him the advice of going to law school to become a lawyer in addition to his political ambition.
“I was very honest with him, I told him I wanted to pursue politics as a career. So he advised me then – that was 2009 – that if I am interested in politics and it is something I want to do as a full-time job why don’t I go to law school". He added.
He also made mentioned that the president help him pay for his school fees.
