The recent circulating news concerning the purchase of a new presidential jet for the incumbent President, Nana Akufo-Addo has sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms considering how the country is currently suffering in terms of its economics.

With respect to this, most Ghanaian politicians, journalists, prominent individuals and citizens as a whole have boldly come out to object the purchase of a new presidential jet as they claimed that, it could cause a huge financial loss to the state.

Not long ago, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa took the privilege to address the issue of the President securing a new presidential jet as his statement took an unexpected turn considering how some Ghanaians approached his message whilst others claimed otherwise.

However, the popularly known Ghanaian journalist, Kwesi Pratt has recently sparked set the records straight after his brilliant responds on the purchase of a new presidential jet for the incumbent President.

Speaking on the most anticipated good morning show on metro TV, Kwesi Pratt was given the privilege to address the issue concerning the purchase of a new presidential jet for the incumbent President, Nana Akufo-Addo as he also addressed Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa’s recent allegations concerning the incumbent government’s expenses on travels.

Kwesi Pratt objected the purchase of the new presidential jet for the incumbent President, Nana Akufo-Addo whilst emphatically stating that, “our leaders have lost their sense of proportion”.

”I find these two reasons extremely shabby; right now this country is broke. 128% of total national revenue on two land items debt servicing and public sector emoluments; is it the time to buy presidential jet for whatever reason. They are saying that it is too small it cannot take many people, the newly elected President of Zambia has shown us that you don’t have to go to the UN general assembly meeting with 50 people; he went with three. If the newly elected President of Zambia can go with a head of a three member delegation, why can’t travel around the world with smaller delegations. And then this argument that it cannot make long journeys is false”, Kwesi Pratt emphatically stated.

Do you agree with Kwesi Pratt on the purchase of a new presidential jet for the incumbent President, Nana Addo even though individuals claim otherwise?
