Former parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party and member of the NPP communication team has heavily criticized the head of the National Identification Authority for recently releasing a letter which revealed that the NIA doubts that the data being collected by telecommunication companies in the ongoing SIM card re-registration is authentic enough. According to Hopeson Adorye, Professor Ken Attafiuah is indirectly destroying the NPP with his actions.
He sent a bold message to Ken Attafuah, "You are not the only Professor in the NPP. Neither are you a special person. You must know that it is grace that has sent you there so do not think the NIA is your private office."
He explained that some inactions of Nana Addo's appointee, an example being Ken Attafuah, make the work of communicators very difficult. He added that he could no longer clean the mess of people who are betraying the party. Hopeson Adorye called on Nana Addo to sack Ken Attafuah otherwise he will not speak for the party again.
