The State of Israel has suffered persecution since its declaration as a sovereign state, as many countries of the world are yet to recognize its sovereignty. But that does not stop their sovereignty nor make them not to be an independent nation.

It is on record that almost all other predominantly Muslim countries of the world are yet to recognize it, with the exception of the following: Kazakhstan , Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo.

Therefore , here are the countries that don't recognize the sovereignty of Israel:

Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mali, Niger, and Pakistan. Bhutan, Cuba, Venezuela, and North Korea.

Israel, is a Middle Eastern country, situated on the Mediterranean Sea, it is regarded by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. Its most sacred sites are in Jerusalem. Within its Old City, the Temple Mount complex includes the Dome of the Rock shrine, the historic Western Wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Israel's financial hub, Tel Aviv, is known for its Bauhaus architecture and beaches.

Between 1922 and 1948 the land was legally and officially under the rule of the British. It was officially called “Palestine” in English. In Arabic it was officially called “Falastin”, and in Hebrew it was officially called “Palestina (E.Y)”.

The security situation in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories can be fast moving, tense and unpredictable. You should be vigilant at all times and keep up to date with local media and travel reports. You should avoid all demonstrations and large gatherings.

Israel is the only country in the world that has more trees today than it had 50 years ago. Israel has more museums per capita than any other country, including the world's only one underwater.
