The group of the late Ekow Quansah Hayford, the MP for Mfantseman, has rubbished the story that he was shot by obscure attackers at Abeadze Dominase while getting back from a mission on the Mankessim-Abeadze street in the Central Region.
They accept the observer accounts so far don't make any sense.
Patrick Eduama Annan, an uncle to the perished, disclosed to Citi News they are suspecting something fishy in the executing of their family member.
"By what means would this be able to be valid and how might we acknowledge this to be a genuine story. We question the entire story and for us to acknowledge this, is hard. We are only two months to the decisions and pressures are rising. The security organizations should wake up and accomplish their work," he said.
As per an observer, the speculated outfitted looters halted the MP's vehicle, along with those of other people who had gone along with him on the mission visit yet the MP's driver endeavored to pass through.
The driver was supposedly shot first which brought about him losing power over the vehicle. "The [NPP] lobby facilitator for the territory was the one driving with his bike so we saw that he had been halted by the burglars, when we moved above and beyond, we saw that they were with firearms. Ekow Quansah Hayford was situated at the passenger seat of the vehicle then he started to shout 'furnished looters, outfitted burglars', so he asked 'What do we do?'" an observer related.
As per him, they attempted to get away however the looters shot their vehicle and it halted.
