Bawumia Should Contest The NPP Flagbearer Race In 8 Years Time. This Is Not His Time – Kwesi Pratt

Veteran journalist, Kwesi Pratt has called on Vice President to forget about vying for the position of flagbearer for the ruling New Patriotic Party. speaking on Alhaji and Alhaji today, Saturday, January 15, 2022, Kwesi noted that with the reputation of Bawumia at stake he should do himself the favor of stepping down and wait for 8 years.

Kwesi explained that the race to the flagbearer has been biased against Alan Kyerematen. He cited many instances were communicators of Alan have been arrested or intimidates just so that things favor Bawumia. He however notes that Bawumia lacks credibility and not fit to contest. He said it was Bawumia who has mismanaged the economy and has consistently contradicted himself on many issues.

Kwesi Pratt called for fairness for all contesting candidates but pointed out that the NPP should tread cautiously because any slip will cause them in 2024. He advised Bawumia to wait so that the mess on him is cleared and the NPP come back for him to contest years later.

“Dr. Bawumia is not fit to stand. His reputation is at stake. For the sake of his own reputation he should step down and wait for 8 years maybe the NPP will come and beg him to stand again. He has contradicted himself on many things” Kwesi Pratt explained
