We May End Up In The Supreme Court Over Adwoa Sarfo's Seat - K. T Hammond

The Majority in parliament may take the case of Sarah Adwoa Sarfo to court to address the issue and declare the Dome Kwabenya consistency Seat Vacant.

Though the majority want the seat to be declared vacant the speaker of parliament Alban Bagbin after listening to both sides of the house referred to the case and said he would give his ruling in writing at another time.

But the member of parliament for Adansi Asokwa consistency K. T Hammond on Citi news said the issue of Sarah Adwoa Sarfo may be sent to the court following the speaker's decision on the matter.

“It seems to me that ultimately we will end up in the Supreme Court on this matter,” the MP said.

What happens if the case is sent to court? what will be the ruling of the court? Does the court has the same authority as the speaker of parliament?

Meanwhile, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has been fire from the office of Gender Minister.
