I would have been an NDC member - Dr. Oko-Boye

The out-going Member of Parliament for Ledzorkuku constituency, Dr Bernard Oko-Boye has revealed he would have been a National Democratic Congress member had it not been his libral nature. He made this revelation in an interview with TV3 this morning, Wednesday 16th December, 2020, in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Dr Oko-Boye further revealed that most people in his constituency are conservatively National Democratic Congress members and the would naturally vote for the NDC. The out-going Lawmaker said, "most of my constituents including my mother are members of the NDC. Most of these people want to make something out of anything. I would have been a National Democratic Congress member if I should follow my lineage".

He further stated he joined the New Patriotic Party because of his liberal nature and asks questions before joining an organisation.

Dr. Bernard Oko-Boi lost the Ledzorkuku parliamentary seat by about 2000 votes to the National Democratic Congress. Most of his constituents accused him of lack of visibility in the constituency.
