Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 last year, Ghana and the World as a whole was actually waiting for a vaccine that can help eradicate the COVID-19 virus as it took much time to finally discover a vaccine.
Health experts and leaders of the country are trying their possible best to contain the COVID-19 by all means and Ghana is among one of the African countries who received the vaccines early. Nigerians are expected to receive theirs today
After the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine, some controversies wad circulating around it as to some bit of fear of it’s source and the effect it can truly have against the virus.
Actually some were battling with trust issues but ho and behold, the first gentleman of the land, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akua-Addo and his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo were the first citizens to take the COVID-19 vaccines followed Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Samira Bawumia at the 37 Military Hospital.
Most especially to encourage and boost more Ghanaians confidence and clear all speculations about the vaccines, The former President of Ghana and Flag Bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama have also taken the COVID-19 vaccine.
They both went together to the Police Hospital (Accra) to take the vaccine.
In regards to this, Most comments sighted on Twitter and Facebook clearly shows that indeed Ghanaians are really getting convinced to take the vaccine after the leading Opposition leader went to take his without hesitation or any negative comment.
