The former Deputy National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fred Agbenyo has angrily and unequivocally denied knowledge of the story making the rounds that he had accused the current National Communication Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi to stop assigning non Akans to radio stations.
Ghananewspage.com reported as headline story “ our tribalistic Boss not assigning non Akans for interviews anymore.”
This Fred Agbenyo described as a figment of the imagination of the writer and should be thrown into the dustbin if intent fabrications.
Below is the full reaction of Fred Agbenyo Agbenyo.
I have read a story making the rounds and purporting to becoming from me.
I wish to state unequivocally that the story emanated from a wicked detractor who has no future and life.
I don’t have any problem with our current communications and the able team leading affairs.
If I ever have any any reservations, contributions or comments, I know how to channel it appropriately to the leadership of the communications team.
I wish to state that I’m in the Volta/Oti regions doing special operations for our party. I am still a member of the communications team and appears on the local stations here.
As a Deputy Director of International Relations of the party, we are performing our duties and responsibilities with the aid of technology.
Let me use this opportunity to appeal to all to remain steadfast and focus on the agenda of winning elections 2020.
