The Danquah Groups Said They Cannot Sit Wiith Farmers To Draft The 1992 Constitution - Aseidu Nketia

Aseidu Nketia says the Busia and Danquah groups did not take part in drafting the Constitution because they said they cannot sit with farmers and Hairdressers.

The largest opposition party, the National Democratic Party (NDC) are currently launching their most awaited party Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies in Accra. 

The out spoken Politician and secretary of NDC revealed certain vital things that most of the Ghanaian populace is not aware and might not have heard it before.

Mr Aseidu Nketia, made it known that, since Independence all the Constitutions drafted have failed to stand the test of time but the 1992 Constitution is still in use.

The NDC secretary made it known that, the Constitution drafted by former President,  J.J Rawlings adminstration thought out of the box and came out with an improved Constitution. 

He said the Constitution was drafted by the people; the farmers, Hairdressers, fishermen, traders, market women, including the technocrats and everyone.

He went ahead to say that, the then Busia and Danquah groups said they cannot sit with traders and others to draft the Constitution, so they did not take part in drafting the 1992 Constitution.
