The weekend and this week has been dominated by news on the interview between Kevin Taylor and Evelyn Aidoo. The latter granted an exclusive to United States based Ghanaian journalist. The interview if verified will be one of the damning of a Ghanaian sitting president but not the first. Presidents like Kufuor, Rawlings, Mahama have all been accused of extra marital affairs.
In the latest expose by Evelyn, popularly called Serwaa Broni, she revealed that she had intimate affairs with President Akufo-Addo, who she refers to as being bad in bed. After the interview, many news portals have tried to read interpretations. On Johnnies Bite today, Thursday, April 21, 2022, Johnnie said he had no business with someone’s affairs but cited two things the president should have done.
Johnnie pointed out that after the expose President Akufo-Addo should have called on his publicity team to release a statement if they felt Serwaa Broni was lying. He asked why up till now nothing has come out from the presidency to deny or confirm. Again Johnnie raised questions about the intelligence of the security that surround the president.
Johnnie revealed that if the security team were intelligent no one could have escaped with secret photos of the president. He reiterated that security currently is about intelligence and not muscles. He noted that after the expose the president should have fired his security team or members who were there during his times with Serwaa.
