Alban Bagbin vs NDC: The turmoil continues as Mr. Alexis fires back at the Speaker for his comment

Please share your thoughts on the question asked below.

Recollecting what has happened days ago, Sammy Gyamfi recently in a Facebook post launched an attack on Haruna Iddrisu, Muntaka Mubarak and other unnamed NDC MPs after the approval of three Ministerial nominees of the President namely Hawa Koomson, Dr Akoto Afriyie and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah through secret voting.

The NDC leadership had initially flagged that those three be rejected in the interest of the party but their opinion was overlooked.

This then triggered the wounded Sammy Gyamfi to take a swipe at the Minority leader, the Chief Whip and the Speaker of the 8th Parliament in the fourth Republic of Ghana. Sammy Gyamfi in his unmeasured attack called the aforementioned traitors after they disobeyed the directives of the party to approve those ministers-designate. Alban Bagbin after hearing the scathing comment against him also replied the NDC's National Communications Officer.

The Speaker reminded Sammy Gyamfi that he is the Speaker of Ghana and not NDC although he is where he is now on the ticket of the NDC but his role in Parliament is to create an even platform for parliamentarians as far as decision making is concerned in the interest of the country and not the NDC nor NPP.

Mr. Bagbin's reply has evoked a lot of criticisms from members of the NDC and Mr Alexis Adugdaa has also registered his unpleasant voice to the issue. The former DCE for Bongo under the former President Mahama administration has whipped the Speaker of Parliament for his comment that he is the Speaker of Ghana and not the NDC.

Mr Alexis Adugdaa Ayamdor is furious that Alban Bagbin who got elected to his position through the NDC is now saying he is not a Speaker to serve the parochial interest of the NDC.

He fumed, “You will rot when the time is due. Do you think you are better than Prof Ocquaye? You will receive your reward from God if you abandon the people who sacrificed their lives for you to become Speaker."

Dear cherished reader, do you side with Mr. Alexis reply to Bagbin and should Bagbin heed to the call of the NDC and serve their interest because he got his speakership position on the ticket of the NDC?
